Exciting morning here at our house! We woke up and the turtle is starting to come out of its shell!!! We can see the tip of its two front feet and its mouth! This was the start of our day.

We went to town and had lunch at the park, then we walked and Reighlyn rode her scooter a little bit. We walked over to the pond across from the park and a man had his motor boat out in the pond driving it around so we sat and watched. It was neat to watch.

We went to the library and Reighlyn played on the computer for a little bit and then we picked out some books to check out. Also printed out some coloring pages, and crafts to make at home! After the library we went and had frostys at wendys and played I Spy while we ate our frostys!

What a wonderful Mommy and daughter day we had today!

We went to the aquarium that is about an hour away, and it was very fun! We attended toddler time, which we learned about mermaids and made mermaid crafts. After that we explored the aquarium and watched the live dive! Reighlyn loved putting her hand to the glass and the diver put his hand up to hers! She thought that was great! We went into the gift shop and found a special little something to buy... A turtle egg! Boy, oh boy were we excited about this buy! You put the egg in water and watch it hatch into a turtle and then the turtle grows big, this is just a toy of course... not a real turtle.

After we left the aquarium we had lunch, that we paked, in their wildlife viewing area and just enjoyed the nice weather. Then we headed across the road to the ocean! It was a little walk from where we parked, but it was nice, and the beach was wonderful! We were the only ones there, and we built 2 sand castles, took some pictures, and watched wild dolphins swimming and coming up out of the water! It was fun to see the wild dolphins so close to shore right in front of us! We found lots of shells that we decorated our sand castles with and then we headed back to the car to go home!

Once we got home, the excitement started! We put the turtle egg in water, and Reighlyn was watching and waiting... for the egg to hatch! Lol I told her it would be about 48-72 hrs before the turtle would come out. She kept going back to the jar looking at it still... All night up until bed time!

Dance and gymnastics today! Tuesdays are her mornings out. We had Steven today, and when Reighlyn got picked up from Dance and gymnastics class, we grabbed lunch at dairy queen and headed home.

We enjoyed most of the day outside! Reighlyn and Steven played and ran around. Reighyln kicked a ball all around an Steven thought it was great to chase her, and she loved him chasing her. Then Reighlyn (the big helper she is) pushed Steven all around the yard in her little push car! We staye dout there mostly until Steven got picked up! Then we headed to the commisary to get some groceries to stock the house with some food!  It wasnt crazy like we thought it would be! (Usually its crazy there on payday!)

We came home cooked, and then got ready for bed!

Happy Valentines Day!
We had friends come over and hang out with us today and we exchanged valentines cards with them. We had wonderful weather and played outside all day, including having lunch outside too! Reighlyn got to ride her Mustang around in the yard with her friends too! (Its been a while since we have pulled that out, due to the winter!)

Reighlyn got a cute bear (she named it Kaylee), a huge box of makeup, a gumball machine, princess candy, and a drama queen heart of chocolates! She loved all her Valentines goodies she got from Dad and Mom.

Reighlyn and I went to church this morning, and then afterwards we ate subway for lunch! It was a nice day today!

After lunch we went over to our friends house, and Reighlyn played outside in the bounce house, and then went for a ride around the neighborhood in a wagon. Mr. Ryan pulled them, and Reighlyn fell asleep! That girl never takes naps! :) Guess the weather was so nice and she was playing so hard she decided to take a little nap in it! Then they went to the playground and played for a bit. It was a nice fun outside day!

When we got home Reighlyn and Dad played outside with sparklers they found in the closet and Reighlyn rode her scooter for a bit before getting ready for bed!

Dad cooked bacon and eggs for breakfast for us this morning, and Reighlyn actually slept in a little... until 8:30am! (She is usually up around 7-730am) After we had breakfast Dad had to go into work, and we headed to town!

We went shopping and got some decor for Reighlyns room, some extra sheet sets, and then went to the nail salon for Reigh Bug to get her nails painted! She loves to go to the salon and get her nails done! She got them pink and purple with glitter on top!

After the nail salon, we went and looked around target and got Reighlyn some cute cowgirl boots, and she picked out Daddy a Valentines gift! :) Then we headed home, and cleaned Reighlyns room! That girl had her room so unorganized, and it was driving me insane!!! We finally, after 2 hours got it all put back together, correctly... and then we proceeded with cleaning the entire house! Dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing, and dad did the bathrooms for us!

Woke up and stayed home all day! Steven came over and Reighlyn pretty much watched television most of the day (very rarely does this happen) Mom didnt feel very good, and was hurting (pregnancy).

Reighlyn got to play on the computer for a little bit, and then bugged mom while she was getting ready to go to the ladies tea tonight at church. She had a little melt down as I was out the door, because I told her to have fun and see her later... she didnt come when I told her I love her and give me a hug, she decided that she wanted a hug and kiss before I left so she had a melt down. This explains the Photo for today! (of course I kissed and hugged my little princess before heading out to tea)

Winter storm! Not, we were supposed to get a winter storm this morning, but all we got was rain during the night, and then a little bit of frozen snow fell and melted away within the hour!

We stayed home all day and ate birthday cake, played barbies, and cleaned a little. Reighlyn had a long bath, which she loves, and played toys.... then dad tucked her into bed!

Mom's birthday! Reighlyn and Dad woke me up with my cake they baked for me and sang happy birthday :) They did a great job on the cake, and Reighlyn was excited to eat it! Dad had to go to work right after singing, so we waited for him to get home to eat it.

Reighlyn went over to Darlene's house while I went to the doctor... and then after we went shopping at target. Reighlyn was not a very good girl in the store today! Ugh... I was thinking about how nice it would feel to just run her over with the shopping cart (just one of those thoughts, when you are fed up with your kid, I would never actually do this).

At 4:30 we went to the library on base for Valentines craft/snakc day! Reighlyn loved this! They got to make an assorment of valentines crafts; A candy rose, valentine card, door hanger, and bear bag. Also they got juice and snacks. Things like this are what we love to go and do! (Fun and free)

We headed straight to church after the library and I had a preamp'd meeting and Reighlyn got to play with the kids in the preschool nursery. Then we grabbed Dairy queen for dinner on the way home!

So, today is supposed to be started with gymnastics and dance, but Reighlyn woke up and didnt want to go... she said her foot hurt and it has an infection so she shouldn't go. Lol This girl is always making excuses when she just doesnt want to do something! So instead we hung out at the house until time for going to church to help make some things we can use in preamp'd on sunday mornings. Reighlyn got some playtime in, and mom got some work done!

After church we headed home, and dad was there to greet us! He planned on Reighlyn and him making a birthday cake for me. (My birthday is tomorrow) I had to help with the recipes a little, but him and Reighlyn baked and decorated a cake while I stayed out of the kitchen.

Today was yet another Rainy day... Ugh. So ready for the rain to move on! We stayed home all day, and babysat Steven. Nothing special happened today except Reighlyn got to play on the computer. (one of her favorites!) We had homemade pulled pork (barbeque) for dinner, and then we watched Legends of the Guardians.

We went to church today. At first Reighlyn didnt want to go, she wanted to stay home an play with all her toys like she did last sunday. I made her go, and then when it was time to leave she didnt want to leave! I had to wait for her to finish her story for 10 mins before she would leave. (we are there for 2 hrs already, since I am a preamp'd leader)

After church we headed home, and Reighyln and dad played together! They went outside and chalked since it wasnt too cold out. Then later they headed over to our friends house to watch the Super Bowl! Mom stayed home and got things squared away and ready for the baby to come!

Birthday party today! Reighlyn's friend from gymnastics had a birthday party today at Chuck E Cheese, and Reighlyn had a blast! It was Rapunzel theme, just like Reighlyns party was! We stayed there almost all day! It was a perfect day to be at Chuck E Cheese, because it was so rainy! Reighlyn wasnt scared of the Big Rat today either,What a surprise! She has always been scared of him, and today she seen all the kids running up to him, so she wanted to see him! She loved him, and wanted her picture taken with him.

After the birthday party, we decided to go to Toys'R'Us to let Reighlyn get a game for her iXL and spend her birthday money. She loved shopping for whatever she wanted! She had $90 to spend and we have 2 coupons for $8 off. She chose a princess game for the iXL, Wedding Barbie, Little Kelly Barbie, a Nail set, and prince and princess barbies. She had $11 left over! I also got a few things for the baby, that we needed.

At home Reighlyn played with all her new toys she bought, and loves them!

Today we stayed home most of the day today. We had craft day, Reighlyn's favorite: Painting! We babysat Steven and he enjoyed painting too! Dad got off work early and him and Reighlyn went over to a friends house to look at the car. It was making a scrubbing noise on the left front tire, so Drew is trying to find out what it was/is. Then we just hung out around the house, and I made a photo slideshow video of Reighlyn and Dad that we watched before bedtime. :)

Today was a lazy day at home! We didnt go anywhere. Steven came over, and Reighlyn was a BIG helper (she always is)! She asked to feed Steven his breakfast, and at first I said I dont think its a good idea. We had tried to let her do it in the past and she just made a mess on his face because she was too cautious and slow to feed him. Then I thought about it for a minute and decided I would let her try it out again. She did wonderfully, and they both sat there and she just fed him all his breakfast! I know she is going to be the best big sister, and a great help for Mom too!

Reighlyn got to play at pbskids.org on the computer for a little bit, she loves to be able to use the computer~ I guess it makes her feel older. :) She cannot wait to be big like Mom and Dad! I told her that she should enjoy being little while she is little! (Isnt that what all parents say to their kids, I know I heard it so much from all adults when I was younger)

When dad got home we let Reighlyn get a bath, so she could play with her bath paints we got her for her birthday. She had a blast painting on the wall in the tub! Today she used Blue and yellow, and was excited that she was making green paint out of the two colors. Yesterday she painted with red and purple, and those mixed just made the color darker. Reighlyn loves art!

So, today was quite the adventure....

When we woke up, we were scared by our neighbor frantically calling us thinking one of her daughters was kidnapped from her driveway! (very scary thought) Turns out the bus driver came early and before the 2nd daughter got outside (a min later than her first) picked her up and headed to school. When they came outside they seen a green car speeding off, and the daughter was no where to be found! So she freaked and called the police! So glad it was just a scare and she made it safely to school!

After all that excitement, we headed to a playdate, running a little late from our morning scare. It was tunnel fun, and the kids just played and crawled through tunnels while the mamas sat around and chatted. After the playdate, we stayed at Darlene's and we went to get lunch at subway and then walk across the road to the park to eat, then play! Reighlyn and Landen both ate pretty well, and then had a fun time playing on the slides and swings. Reighlyn was sliding head first down the slide, and wasnt scared! She has always been scared to try that in the past. :)

Once we got home later in the afternoon, dad was home and him and Reighlyn played chase around the house. They also played rescue rapunzel... Dad took Reighlyns barbie and put her up at the ceiling, and then was a guard and Reighlyn had to try and get the rapunzel barbie. He told her she had to have ruby red slippers to get through. She loved this game! Then we had pizza (dad's night to cook) and got ready for bed!

Today was an eventful, fun and busy day!

We woke up and got ready to go to dance and gymnastics first! She wore her black leotard with black leggings and a black and purple tutu skirt! She looked really cute, might I mention. She goes to gymnastics first from 9-10, and then ballet/tap from 10-11. I get 2 hours of me time! :)

Once gymanstics/dance was over we went home for lunch before heading to Reighlyn's 4 yr check up! She was so excited to go, she didnt want to go home and eat lunch first, even though her appointment wasnt until 1:45pm. I prepped her for her shots, I told her she was going to get them, but it would only hurt for a second (like a little pinch) then it would be ok~ she said she is a big girl now, and will not cry! Lol

We went to the dr and she was excited!!! We read books while we waited to get seen. She went potty and gave them a sample in a cup! (last year she freaked out when they asked to get some in a cup) She is 39 lbs, and 3 ft 5 inches. She is off the charts for height, they said she is a tall girl... (of course we already knew this, she has always been in the 95th percentile for her age) Anywho, she loved getting examined, and enjoyed doing the vision and hearing tests. She however did NOT like getting her finger pricked to check her blood! She got mad when her finger was pricked, and then cried when she seen there was blood! She only cried for a minute. She was ready for shots, but we found out she wasnt getting them done today, we have to go to naval hospital to get those done. She was upset we werent getting shots today. ?? (boy is she going to be dissappointed when she realizes they hurt, just like the finger prick)

We went home after the dr and played t-ball in the backyard ( a set she got as a birthday gift from friends) then chalked in the driveway. We drew rapunzel, mommy and Reighlyn, and Reighlyn again. :) Reighlyn was covered head to toe in chalk! :) We enjoyed our playtime together!

Today we stayed home most of the day, nothing important to do! We watched Steven today, and when dad got home, we went shopping at the commisary to get groceries for the month. Steven went with us,  him and Reighlyn got to ride around in the race car shopping cart!

We had lasagna and garlic bread for dinner, and we watched a movie while we had dinner (very rarely do we eat in the livingroom)!! We watched revenge of the bridesmaids! Reighlyn snuggled with Dad, since my belly is in her way- not too comfy to sit in Mom's lap!

Today is Reighlyn's 4th Birthday! We are so excited to be turning 4 yrs old! Her party was yesterday at Step Ahead Gymnastics; Rapunzel theme! This morning she woke up to her motorized barbie car driving back and fourth in her room, and she was first annoyed at the noise it made, until she looked up and seen what it was; her reaction: WOW! Then she got up and followed it out of her room!

We gave her presents from Dad and I, and she got Barbie with a horse, a Liv doll with blonde hair, a rapunzel barbie, polly pockets cutants, 24pk flavored chapstick, and a remote controlled barbie car! She was super excited about her presents that she recieved at her party and on her birthday!

Mom went to church to do preamp'd (while her and dad stayed home), and then we planned to go somewhere fun to celebrate Reighlyns birthday, BUT she didnt want to go anywhere! She wanted to stay home all day, and play with all her birthday stuff! We eventually got her to get dressed in warm clothes, and go out to eat so she could get sung to at a resturant! She wanted to eat somewhere that had Mashed potatoes and peanuts! (Lol) So we went to Texas Road House, and she had Peanuts, mashed potatoes, and chicken! She was thrilled when they came to the table and sung to her, not to mention the ice cream sundae they delivered!
